As Seen On The Ellen Degeneres Show: Vitamix 5200 Plays A Starring Role On “Ellen’s 12 Days Of Giveways”

CLEVELAND – On the eleventh day of “Ellen’s 12 Days of Giveaways” Ellen DeGeneres gave more than 300 audience members a Vitamix 5200, a professional-grade blender that does the work of 10 kitchen appliances with no attachments. This special audience was made up firefighters (and their families) who helped put out the recent southern California blazes.

“Ellen really wanted to do something for them and worked really hard to have them as an audience for this special giveaway,” a show insider reports.

The Vitamix 5200 was one of four gifts announced today for the coveted giveaway. Each day viewers can register to win the same gifts the studio audience receives. At the end of the series, one viewer will have an opportunity to win each gift from the entire 12-day special, including the Vitamix 5200.

Now in its sixth season, The Ellen DeGeneres Show has won 25 Daytime Emmy Awards including one this year for Outstanding Talk Show Host for the fourth year in a row.

Since the show began airing in 2003, DeGeneres has been counted among Time magazine’s 100 most influential people, voted number one in Oxygen’s “50 Funniest Woman Alive” special, awarded “Best Daytime Talk-Show Host” by Parade.com readers, and named “Favorite TV Personality” by The Harris Poll’s annual favorite television star list.
